Jerrys 35th Lesson

Today was a watershed lesson: we did 15 touch & goes at HWD, and went back and landed at PAO, without my instructor touching the flight controls once!

This in spite of low and variable winds that changed considerably below 50 feet or so, screwing up my wind correction on every approach.

Taxiing back to parking, he told me the plan for the next few lessons: A couple more at HWD: one in the morning with low winds, one in the afternoon with more winds, then short field, then soft-field, then *SOLO*.

I asked, "What about wheel landings?" "We'll do those after you solo..."
