My Flying Lessons

I learned to fly in a 1947 Cessna 120 taildragger. It takes longer to learn in a tailwheel airplane: mainly because they're so hard to land. But I felt it would be worthwhile because I'd be a better pilot.  I felt that the strict attention to directional control and rudder usage that a tailwheel airplane requires on landing ( they fly the same as anything else )  would yield a better margin of safety against stall/spin accidents in the air.  Anyway, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it..
